Anna Zobnina


Born in St.Petersburg, Russia, Anna lived in Cyprus for over ten years and worked as Research Analyst with MIGS – one of the founding members of ENoMW. Her work focus is on intersectional and structural feminist analysis of gendered discriminations, with specific emphasis on violence against women, care economy, migration, sexual exploitation and ideological knowledge production. In May 2014 she was elected Chair of ENoMW and was re-elected in this capacity in May 2016. In this role she works on capacity-building of migrant women NGOs and strengthening their inclusion in the EU decision-making, across such diverse areas as access to justice, citizenship, labour participation, sexual & reproductive rights and non-discrimination. Anna’s biggest passion is feminism and bridging the gap between theory and practice. She is currently residing in Scotland.
